Reliable launch behavior is the foundation for a smooth and relaxed tandem flight. The BION 3 rises precisely and dependably overhead in a variety of terrains and wind conditions, impressing with its low lift-off speed. At the end of the flight, its excellent flare potential ensures a safe and gentle landing, even in calm conditions.

Outstanding Flight Characteristics.
A tandem wing must perform flawlessly across a wide weight range - more than any other glider. With low loading, the BION 3 is agile and offers a significant speed increase while maintaining high stability. Under high wing loading, brake pressure remains moderate, and both takeoff and landing speeds stay pleasantly low. The BION 3 delivers uncompromising performance across the entire weight spectrum.

The 20 mm wide BION 3 riser features Fidlock magnetic buckles, allowing quick and practical fixation of the brake handle and trimmer strap. A clamp for seamless adjustment of the A3 main line ensures effortless holding of Big Ears.

刹车绳是伞翼认证的组成部分——更改刹车绳,会影响伞的飞行特点和极端飞行情况下的反应。因此,我们强烈建议不要对刹车系统进行任何修改。在实际制动作用发生前,刹车绳有充足的行程是很重要的。这使得在使用加速系统时,伞翼不会自动刹车。此外,过短的刹车会对性能产生影响,甚至对意外发生时的恢复产生影响,比如在遇到塌陷时,或当伞翼进入降落伞失速时。

性能数据在很大程度上取决于飞行员所制造的阻力,这跟他们的坐姿和座袋类型有关。符合空气动力学的流线型座袋或坐姿可以让滑翔比相差一个点。NOVA团队从来不确定绝对的性能数据,而是通过做参照的伞翼来进行比对。因此,我们不发布性能数据。

飞行员如何抓握刹车绳是一个个人偏好的问题——但这确实会对伞的操控感和飞行特性有显著影响。我们推荐“绕半圈”的方法。您将刹车手柄握在掌心,并将它纽绕手掌半圈,让刹车绳位于拇指和食指之间。这个方法让刹车行程缩短大约20厘米,同时能够积极有效地传达伞翼的反馈信息——首先,您可以直接感受刹车绳的运动行程;其次,手臂所处位置更高,更容易感受伞翼。基于人体工程学考虑,我们并不建议一直采用这种方法飞行,比如在滑行阶段,或其他并不需要靠刹车绳来转向的飞行阶段。请注意:抓握刹车绳时,从“不绕圈”到“绕圈”,必须要考虑相应缩短的刹车行程。

我们的座右铭是简洁。我们的伞可以使用长条袋来收叠,但这并不是必要的。你可以用自己喜欢的方式来叠伞,再把它装进我们的内伞包。要小心避免不必要的前缘翼肋支撑的弯折。当伞要被收叠起来长时间存放,或收叠得很紧凑时,这一点尤为关键。

伞布材料、伞绳和所有其他部件,在被用于批量生产前,都会经过严格的测试。我们不仅测试伞布的耐久性(紫外线损伤或使用损耗引起的高透气性或低抗撕裂性),还测试其机械坚固性,例如拉伸。出于质量控制目的,我们定期在批量生产过程中进行抽样检查。

当新伞投入使用时,伞绳就开始受力。这会让伞绳发生小程度的拉伸和收缩。这与伞绳制造商或工艺质量无关——在工厂里,所有的NOVA伞翼都接受了伞形调平,并且在极小的偏差范围内进行了预拉伸。为了修正伞绳的拉伸或收缩,我们建议伞翼在10-20趟飞行之后就接受NTT伞形修正——最迟不超过一年。通常来说,在最初的10-20个使用小时后,伞绳的长度就保持不变了。为了充分发挥NTT伞形修正的作用,NOVA鼓励所有飞行员在10-20个飞行小时后为伞翼做检查。

干燥,不要收叠得太紧;如果可能的话,放置在温差变化小的空间——这些都让我们的伞翼感觉良好。千万不要把伞存放在潮湿环境,同时也要避免过热的环境,比如,你可能会把伞放在车里。切勿使用化学清洁剂和/或刷子来清除污垢。
